Applied Studies Group is a consultancy firm with the focus on serious games and their application as training tools for military, law enforcement and homeland security organizations.
We believe that computer based training should not have to be exclusive to large organizations with multi-million dollar budgets when in fact it is the smaller organizations that have the most to gain by the reduced costs and increased efficiency that this type of training brings. Therefore we use commercial off-the-shelf software to design customized systems and scenarios according to client requirements, with the goal of creating an affordable package yet still bringing advanced training capabilities to the client. Our services include pre-studies to assess a client’s needs, implementation of complete systems, development of customized training scenarios and the environments and models used therein.
Applied Studies Group is also active in the entertainment and gaming industries.
We currently run an after-market tournament for the BIS game ArmA2 where up to 100+ simultaneous users in various geographic locations world-wide meet in online ‘battle’ for three hours every week.
Around the tournament we have built an extensive online community with members that are very active and dedicated.
